What's a good cooler for this chip? I intend to use my alpha 8045.

by cooler you mean heatsink and fan? And it will depend on if you plan to overclock or not.

SK-700 Is perfectly fine for that chip as well, and is considerably less than the 800.

Im using an original sk6 on my 2100+ that i bought when i built my 1.4 tbird system and it does alright in terms of cooling for an older cooler. I get a max load temp of 41C.
