i want to o/c my card (pny geforce4mx440) but i want to know the temps so i can see if its getting to hot. i have seen a trick were someone drilled a small hole in a heatsink, then put a sensor in there, and filled it with thermal past. if i made ramsinks would this be worth it? same thing for the gpu. also is it worth the effort, or will i know that i'm taking it too far when i get artifacts and can't loop 3dmark?

I use the drill and plug method for my GPU, but imho your wasting time and energy doing this for the ramsinks.

PS I drill a small hole and fill it with thermal adhesive, not thermal paste as thermal paste may leak out and cause you problems. PS dont make the hole any larger than it has to be ;)
