Which Is The Fastest Cd-rom Or Dvd-rom Dirve?

i'm an hard core gamer and my kenwook 72x just died...
so i need a remplacement cd-rom or dvd-rom that can load games at the fastest speed available. anyone have any recommandation for a new drive?

Probably, your best bet is to buy a Lite On 52x CD-ROM drive. Lite On is a great brand, and it is cheaper (pricewise) than other companies. 52x is the highest speed so far, since any drives that claim to be way faster, i.e. 72x, accomplishes that by using multiple lasers. I say a CD-ROM drive is better than a DVD one because it is slightly cheaper unless you want to use DVDs. The drive costs around $25 USD.
