stupid house fried my pump

I was changing the outlet I had it plugged into, and when I plugged it, the plug sparked, and no more maxi-jet

now I need to buy a new pump. is there a pump that's the same size as the maxi-jet, but more powerful?

nope, maxis are the most powerful of their size. some pumps are only slightly larger like the dolphins and the hydors, but the maxi is definitely the smallest size/flowrate i've seen

kk, I thought so, I justy was going to take this opportunity to upgrade the pump if there was one of the same size that had better flow.

Hmm, I will use my ups for my waterpump....so it will be more protected. Wonder why your outlet did that.....mayb somthing worth looking into before you plug anything else into the socket!

yeah, that socket is alone forever more. I have one of those baby protector thingies in it.

My house had the same problem, never could figure out why it did that, but when if fried my old 17" monitor, my boombox, and old power supply, i replaced all the wiring to my room and some of my house, and changed fuse system too. you would probably want to do that same..
