i don't geddit...isn't the ati fan only 40mm's?
how will a 60mm fit?

That's why it's a MOD, silly. I've done something similar with the fan from a stock intel hs/f. Glued it to the heatsink with superglue, running at 400mhz core with no problems whatsoever. Going from 3-6 cfm to 20-30 helped enormously.

do you think the stock AMD processor fan would stick on it ok? Do i just get a rubber band and hook it on or hot glue gun?

This is exzactaly what I did to my 9500Pro Looks cool too

altho I used some Mobo standoffs Modified & Wedged them into the HS then Mounted the fan to the Standoffs

high temperture does lower the performance while the card is at the same settings.
