1024x768 32 bit color @ 75hz on a 19" NEC

I'm sort of a "Large Print" kinda guy.

I like to keep the DPI at the default of 96 because I have found several windows in XP that will not resize correctly with an increase in font size... thank you microsoft.
:(

its a philips 105e, its stock drivers refresh rate is only 60ghz, but with plug and play monitor drivers it allows 200ghz :)

Does it say 200hz on the monitor's OSD, or is that just what windows says?

My dell moniter wth the rinitron thing is great. my gateway EV700 on the other hand................

It has extreme trouble showing text at anything above 1024X768. its highest refresh is 60hz at anything above 1024X768. and it when i turn it on, it goes
BBBBWWWWAAAAAAAASSSSuUUUUUUUNNNNNGGGG

If you've posted before my note, you'll need to vote in the poll.

(Thanks to modenaf1 for the idea for this poll.)

100hz @ 1024x768 on a 19" proview

anything under 85 now makes my eyes bother me and sometimes give me a headache after getting used to 100hz

I'll run my monitor has high as it goes till it blows out (that already happened once :p)
Just as long as its better for my eyes, 2nd eye isnt a spair :p
eyes are worth more then money IMO :p

85Hertz @ 1280x960

Viewsonic P95f

Unlocked I can run 1920x1440 @ 85Hertz....

Hehehe try that with any 19" monitor which is what I have....

1024 x 768 @ 85 HZ
19 incher as well

I could of swore I read something somewhere that said the naked eye cannot tell a difference above a certain point.

That the monitor would refresh your screen faster than your eyes can refresh the image you are looking at to your brain. This is also what causes the headaches if you have it too low.

*sniff* *sniff* my crappy 15 inch pacard bell can only handle 1024*768 at 43 hz interlaced.... *sniff*

my eyes hurt... it DOES handle 800*600 at 60 hz! oh.. that aint that great.. ehh...
