    Rubberbands

Can rubberbands short out pcb? Was thinking about strapping one around my fic radeon 9700 for a fan to direct the hot air comming off of it. Do not want to blow directly on the card, just blow the air below it, and rubberbanding it to the card seems like my best option.

latex is non conductive so a rubber band will not short out a pcb.

And make sure its not near any hotspots. Otherwise the rubber will get hot, melt and then the fan will go crashing through the system.

Keep an eye on those bands though, they might perish sooner than you would think in a warm case.
Folder in disgrace. Folding rigs may be back online eventually, just as soon as real life gives me enough breaks.
