exactly, I can not understand these people who buy a card and expect it to do something it was not intended to do. Then if it does not they return it and complain. Grow up and take your lumpos thats what overclocking is about you take the chance or do lotsa research before you buy or DO NOT BUY if it is a gamble

Yeah but what if it's say Newegg.com(which it is 98% of the time when ppl do this)... They have a money back guarantee. You can call them and tell them it woldnt soft mod and they would take it back.. It's your choice if you want to pay the restocking fee.

yes, but were you honest and say you tried to make the card do something it shouldnt and it didnt work out, so you are dissatisfied, and pay the 15%, or return it as defective for free?
