Stubborn 9700Pro

The deal is I got my hands on a refurb 9700 Pro, however I think it may need a little something to help it out. What happens is the card doesnt sit right in the AGP slot, and I get wierd "un-decoded" lines right down the middle of the screen. However when I took a rubber band from the corner of the card and latched it to the top of my case to provide some tension it works just fine. Would you guys suggest cleaning the video card leads in some rubbing alcohol? Or do you think it might be the motherboard AGP slot (I havn't exactly stuck with one video card and I have taken them in and out quite a bit). Thanks.

I think the PCB was warped during production or something. Talk to ATI about it. They might be able to help you.
