1. The system I am running at the moment is using the onboard video only right now, as I dont want to buy a video card until I upgrade my MB, so it might be a while.

Is this slowing down my folding?

2. What does the -local flag do? I am running the -advmethods -forceasm flags only.
 
the -local flag just makes sure you're working on whatever is in the folder the core and exe are in if you've got multiple instances running. Some people have said they don't run the -local flag and multiple instances run ok though. As far as the on board video, I don't think it will affect folding since it still has it's own gpu, I think.
