What happened? Lost 2000 points in 3dmark

When I first got my 9700pro I was getting near 16K, but yesterday I noticed Splinter Cell wasn't quite so smooth. I tested today and it's 13.8K. What the hell?

I think installing Radeonator did it. I never even used the prog, just installed then uninstalled when I tried the Omega drivers. BTW, the driver change didn't help.

Sounds like a driver/bloat/spyware issue.

Do these steps in this order:

Try a clean driver install(driver cleaner).

Then run a bot scan, and Defrag the drive(s).

Update chipset drivers(verify thru device manager).

Reinstall OS

Throw machine out window
