Just at newegg and see they dont carry 2.53 p4's anymore - what gives?

The 2.53's are 533 Front side bus and the newer Hyperthreading, 800Mhz Front side bus models are taking their place.

Well since they have the 2.66 and 3.06 I have to say that is the most unresearched answer I ever recieved.Anybody else want to take a shot?

yep, the only reason there are still 2.6 and 3.06 is because newegg probably has a decent inventory of them, since they were expensive chips, so they probably didnt sell as well.

weird that the 2.4 is going to stay though
