Fetching the pages and extracting the data would be easy. Generating graphs would be a little more tricky.

Just download Overclockix. All you do is slap it in the CD-ROM and boot up the computer. Then you can run seti from the terminal. I belive that its in the RAM drive. So make your way there and then ./setiathome and you are crunching diskless.

thanks for the info {PMS}fishy . looks like an awsome tool. i'll have
to check that out. i also use my PIII to access the web. when i mentioned
a diskless farm i was referring to the new machines i would get. a few
2.4C/IS7-E's and another IS7/2.4C running Raid 1 with one flavor or another of BSD.

i downgraded to CLC version 3.03 to try and hold my position in my class.

I think that I can get to 2nd before the end of Phase 1 if I start cranking

The number one guy was behind me for about the first 10 months then kicked into gear about 6 months ago and seems to be doing somewhere around 5000 WU per week (currently at 150,000)! 8/
