I was wondering...is the oscilloscope and bar graph on Seti@home graphical interface the actual data? Or just a "representation"?
 
I'm almost positive the graph at the bottom is the signal your computer is currently working on. I've gotten it to react (in a bad way) when my computer was having issues, so I'm pretty sure it's the real thing.

As for the ociliscope, what are you refering to? The graph in the upper left?
