lost 64mb of ram on a 256mb stick

ive lost 64mb of ram on a 256mb stick

what are the main reasons this could happen

and should i scrap the stick now that its dammaged

dont worry it came back :S

i took out all teh ram modules cleaned them up n'stuff and wham its back again

cool lucky you.

Though I was intrested in why that might happen (other than it just being dirty)... I would have thought that it would just not work or somthing... meh.

i thought the whole module just wouldnt work. i was confuzed as hell but it works, so i cant complain
