Heh an intro forum...ok here goes.

Hi my name is Ed. Im a manager with Some Big telephone Company. I run a repair crew now, ran a construction crew for 5 years before this job and prior to that I was a tech working in the field (all with the same big company). When im not at work im either taking classes to finish my Applied Sciences (yeah, telecom, go figure) degree program or doing stuff with the family in between trying to steal enough time to get some frag on :)

The one and only, Buhammot!

No way affiliated with SquareSoft, Final Fantasy or any affiliate there of.

Well, John here. Serious gamer of mainstream PC games since the shareware version of Doom. Remember playing Doom with my brother when we had a serial connection between the 2 486 comps. But have started overclocking since I got my first comp in 2001. Started small, and always have been on the budget end of the product lines, but still manage to pull off some impressive stuff.

Currently working and going back to college to get my degree in Architectrual Technologies, and glad I found THE FORUM to go to! I do what I can to help, and usually in the CPU/AMD CPU, nvidia, sound categories.

Best overclock was my 2500+ runnin at 2.4 on an SK7, with an MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR mobo. Not the best for overclocking, but was stable enough to pull off a decent score in 3dm01.

I am looking for 2.5 on my A64 2800+ when it gets in. And no, I dont fold, I search. :D

Teger... I build PCs for friends and whatnot.. Recently a mobile A64 in a K8N Neo Plat for a friend - unfortunately the voltage is still being a ***** and the whole thing has issues but at least it's stable with about a 200 mhz overclock... Board is annoying as hell ..

If I'm ever not poor - I'll probably go with an A64 with an Epox or the new DFI which looks promising.

Currently an Aviation student / Pilot at SCSU in Minnesota.

My name is Daniel, I have been visiting since late 2001. I was introduced to here by Donny_paycheck, a step-brother of mine. My username is just because I am interested in horses. I am currently running my Athlon XP Thoroughbred B 1700+ at 2223 mhz, 171fsb X 13 multi.

I'm Trevor. I have a short fuse with people who irritate me. I pretty much hate everyone equally & don't discriminate against anyone individually. (I know thats a saying, but I'm not stealing it, it's true).

Now that I started that off on a good note. :p I love computers, it's the only hobby thus far that has held my interest. I have had a lot of hobbies & computers has lasted the longest, so I'll spare you the boring details of others I have had. I currently work at an insurance company & will be in transition to somewhere else very soon.

I'm blunt, honest (sometimes both at the same time which can hurt), I enjoy helping people out if I can. I've been here actively posting since I joined & have learned a lot from members here ( ;) thanks!). I've made attempts to come onto IMOG, but have not succeed (he said something about distance & he doesn't like stalkers, dunno  his loss I guess).

Highest stable OC thus far is on my current rig (see sig) 230x11.5 at 11-2-2-2........It's fast but not as fast as my 4 banger Eclipse 02'.

I have used this same nick for about 4-5 years online. Many meanings behind it, overall it fits computers perfectly, because they are ALWAYS obsolete the following day.

Hi, My name is Joe and I love Overclockers since I was referred here from a person in a car club. I originally learned a lot about computers by joining a games forum while I was going to Arizona State University. It's amazing what a 12 year old that wants to play doom faster can show you about computers  So anyway I built my first computer when I joined here and never looked back, its so nice to know something about the inside now and not get burned buying pre-made of the cheapest parts manufactured systems.

My name is HUNG...

I learn how to o'c when I know a site name: overclockers.com, around 4 years ago. Normally I do a lot of seaching in this forums and find what i need. This place is a big help, and have to go here every day, WHY???

Well, I'm Jon-Paul, and I'm a freshman at the University of Oklahoma and studying to get degrees in Chemical Engineering, applied to Biotech, Biochemisty, and minors in Mathematics, Zoology, and Chemistry. I'm prolly gonna end up being a 2nd or 3rd year senior, lol. My best OC was getting my 3.0Ghz Intel to 4.1Ghz... didn't last too long though. Crashed quickly, but it WAS there.

My name is Leigh - I'm an Airline Pilot and computer enthusiast (geek). I've been engrossed with computers since my first computer, a Tandy 386SX with windows 3.1. I was very excited when I installed a Wang Math Coprocessor, bringing my SX up to a DX. Yeehaa...

I enjoy both the hardware & software end of computing, especially overclocking. And finding a freeware app that works better than a commercial version is always great.

The Forums are very much part of my daily routine- helping others when I can and learning from all of the great folks here.

My name is Christopher, and I'm 20.

I work for Antietam Cable; a small cable ISP in northern Maryland. I also administrate forums for the world's largest and most-visited Minidisc website in the world, minidisc.org. I'm new to the OC'ing scene and I haven't done anything in that regard [other than my vga card], but I look forward to tweaking a bit and seeing what I can come up with. It's a pleasure to be here and I look forward to contributing to discussion whenever possible. Nice forums, btw. :)

Welcome Kurisu, you will likely find many more like you around - though their homes away from OC may not all be as large as yours, many around here have their own sites they run.

Feel free to PM anyone on staff (blue, green) if you need pointed in the right direction for anything. :) We're always glad to help.

Hello OC forums!

As my name suggests I'm a beginner. My real name is Anthony, wife's name is Melissa. We live in Iowa but I grew up in Lake Worth, FL. I'm 25 years old and I've lurked here and at a few other forums for quite a while but due to a lack of the right components and enough courage I haven't actually overclocked anything yet.

That's about to change. I've only actually owned three computers in my entire life and the first two were out-of-the-box systems. The third I built with overclocking in mind but with only a basic knowledge of what I needed. I'm glad I did because there is no comparison between a system you build yourself and a Dell. It's very satisfying.

I've already talked to Drisler on AIM to thank him for posting the RAM guide that answered a lot of questions I had about an aspect of overclocking that I don't yet fully understand. I hope to meet a lot more of you.

If any of you want to chat about computers or have any advice for me shoot me an IM on yahoo messenger to Moghedien71 or on AIM to M34tpupp3t (Long story on that name I really need to change it). I'd enjoy any good tips or advice anyone has.

Sorry but my IRC is on my system which is in pieces at the moment, I'm on my wife's computer.

Sure do. I'm in Mitchellville about 5 miles east of Altoona and maybe 25 miles east of DesMoines.

I can understand your surprise. I'm no computer guru but I know more then everyone in a 50 mile radius it seems. Sometimes it gets lonely :p

So you in Allison or Sheffield?
