    anyone ever checked rio pumps out

    they are cheap and the one i have in my fishtank is pretty quiet
    has a 6' lift and at 0ft is cap of 300gph
    also works fully submersable

    The price looks good but I dont know about reliabilities of those pumps. If your fishtank pump lasted long then I guess you can safely assume that these pumps will last long as well

    my fishtank and pond both use rio, f/t using 1100 for bout 6 months and pond using 17HF, but that is WAY loud, but
    Model 1 ft. 4 ft. 6 ft. (ft.)
    Rio 17HF 1090 840 gal/hr

    Rio's are oldschool . They used to come in the earlier kits that were out, leufken, aquastealth/becooling, etc... I remember people used to have them die on them often. My submerged via in my old leufken kit died after about 2 months. I believe some people still use them with satisfying results though.
