fried?

hi i have an asus a7n8x-la board that came with my computer(store bought). As i was hooking up the pci slot blower fan, it touched my mobo and my comp froze, the screen looked like it had 4 large artifacts on it, and would not start after i turned it off. This morning when i was checking it out, i noticed my psu was burning hot even though nothing was on. my ethernet cable light is not on like normal (green light). What do you guys think? BTW i'm a newb just started modding like a month ago.
