bad bios flash
i was updating my bios on my GA-8IPE1000 to the f8a version, it seemed to load fine, i got no errors. i exited and it went to a Dos screen. When i restarted i get this message immediatly...

Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive...
Can not Find BIOS Image in Hard Drive on Diskette!

taking the battery out does nothing... any other suggestions?

Do you have another board so you can hotflash? If not, try contacting the manufacturer to see if you can buy a new chip (the one that holds the BIOS, of course).

well i only have this board, and the bios chip is soldered to the board. also i noticed that it has a spot for another one that says backup but it does not have anything there.
