I have a biostar motherboard and tried overclocking a duron 700 mhz through the jumpers jumping it from a 100 mhz fsb to a 133 fsb. It boots fine and everything but I get some werd POST screen I've never seen before. It says award boot block something or other and starts looking for drives. After not finding any drives it says no operating system found. Nothing big there. If I overclock through the bios I can overclock to 117 mhz perfectly fine. (The highest the bios will let me go.) And it appears to boot fine at 133 through the jumpers. It just comes up with this weird boot that I've never seen. On the top of the screen it says AWARD BOOT BLOCK. Anyone know what Im talking about or have any idea and can explain it to me?
