overheated gfx card when didnt OC?!

sapphire 9k pro 128mb ddr.

happened instantly when i had 2 highlight all of them manually.


used powerstrip.

original engine=274.5mhz & memory clock=249.75mhz but it cant underclock.
it will reboot.


used rage3d tweak.
it applied my settings. no reboot.

core=274.5mhz
memory=240.75mhz
no more blue dots.

didnt know had to UC.

Yeah, I have no idea what a hosts file has to do with a video card overclock and temperatures? Maybe I am just not understanding...
