Geforce 4 ti 4600 question

I have looked around in the forum for awhile now and I can't seem to find the answer to this.I have a visiontek geforce 4 it has a blue orb fan that has went bad but it seems that it is glued in some way to the chip what is a good way to remove it.Thanks for any help guys!

The way I use to do it, was this. I would wrap the card up, and put it in the freezer for a few hours. Then gently twist the orb, should work. That was ole school, don't know what they do now.
