so my monitor buzzes when it's been on a while

Is this a sign that it is dying? Is there any way to stop the buzzing? Is there a way to cure it?

The buzzing has just started this week. When the monitor has been on for a couple hours, the buzzing starts. To stop the buzzing, I turn the monitor off, then back on again.

I also have an old dell 15" monitor that buzzes terribly when it's been on for a little while.

Any way to solve this problem? Anybody know what causes it?

I think this happens to monitors when they get too old. My TV also makes a buzzing sound and it's pretty old. If you can live with the noise then keep your monitor but if you can't I would look for a replacement. Fixing a monitor or a TV is just too expensive.
