one day i heard 2 pops then a cloud of smoke and my mobo was dead
and i never tried that psu again until i jumped it with a paperclip to run a fan to see if it works so was it the psu that took out the motherboard or was it a freak accident

it's some generic one that came with a case that i bought for like 30dollars and if i overloaded it wouldn't it not work when i jump it with a paperclip

never use generic psu, if there is one thing that is the most important component of your computer, its the psu

well i thought it would be ok since the pc wasnt overclocked and didn't have much in there that used to much power
