Are you POSITIVE the L35 impeller assembly will work in a L30? I have a L30I with a worn-out impeller shaft and a scratched magnet (ran dry when bleeding. oops.) The new L35 impeller appears to only work one way, and I thought the L30 decided which way it will spin on start-up. If the L35 will work in my L30, I'm going to e-mail hydor firts thing and see if I can pick one up

the L30 and L35 body are the same with a minor adjustment to the motor. while you mention 2 possible directions in L30 to start and the design on the l35 only has 1 way i would guess that it always starts in the same direction anyways but if you want total assurance email hydor usa
