I used asus's upgrade bios utillity to upgrade my bios to the 1006.1 for the a7a266. It's not very stable and raises my temps too high. I can't use asus's bios flash program to go to an older bios just newer. Plus if anyone has the 1003 bios i would appreciate it. Thanks

Do NOT flash your BIOS from within windows. VERY bad idea. Besides, there is no true DOS in Win2k.

I second that!!!!!!!!!!

Use a boot disk.

I have a "Super Boot Disk" that a guy I know with a local pc shop made up:
Win95 system files, mitsumi cd rom drivers, fdisk, format.

When I flash a bios ( just did a DFI board a few minutes ago!) I copy that disk and add the flash exe and bin to it. One stop, safe bios flashing.
Its great when installing 9x too: copy the cd to the hard drive and install fast!
