I'm kinda wondering about that "shutoff" though. Does that mean that once it reaches a certain pressure the pump quits? That would NOT be a good thing!

Those specs look OK, but not great. Why not just get the D4 12v or the MCP600? Both have nice pressure and add little heat to the water. The shutoff if maxhead, and yes, ALL pumps will stop pumping once the max head is reached.
