Partition MAgic

Hi guys im trying to partition my hard drive using partition magic but when my computer restarts to apply the changes it starts then it stops and tells me error 27 Cannot lock drive. What can i do? Should i use another program.

Try using a Linux-live diagnostic distro like System Rescue disk or even Overclockix/Knoppix/Suse Live Eval. They will allow you to use QTParted which can do most of the basic PM functions.
