I've heard some say that an FX 5600 can be flashed to a 5700 but have not had this confirmed or had anybody give their results. Please post here:

I doubt you can get it to a 5700, maybe to a 5600U but even that is a stretch.

I can say it can work, but it probably wouldn't work. If you get it to work it will be slower than ever.

Just throw it away :|

Seriously IMHO it isn't worth the hassle flashing a 5600. If you wanna flash a FX card, get the 5900XT and flash that to a 5950 ultra. Or a 9800 Pro to a 9800XT. By attempting to flash that 5600 you'll kill it, meaning you'll be throwing it away.

As for sending my 5900XT away.... that won't happen until 2005 when my GeForce 7800 GT XT LE Ti Ultra arrives.
