I am trying to remove a Thermalright NB-1C from an Nforce2 board, but squeezing together the little feet on the bottom and trying to push them through isn't working like it would on a normal northbridge heatsink. Are there any special steps I am supposed to be doing first, or am I just not grabbing the feet well enough with my fingers? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Sometimes you need a pair of needle nose pliers to compress the tabs. Push down on the nylon pins and compress the tabs with needle nose pliers.
