Found 3-4 diffrent settings i can try to change.. one i have a question about is why disable acpi?? doesnt win 2k need this? just wondering if u disable it does it get more performance/ stability?
Thanks,
Chris
ACPI is sometimes needed to install win2k - usually not. It's a good idea to disable it completely on a seti only box to ensure best performance. The standards are still not complete, and sometimes it causes problems trying to power down the hdd or otherwise save juice when the box is "idle."
