6600 series preview...

Hi all,

Does anyone know if these will be available with 256MB on them? I am not sure buying a card with 128MB would be that smart given the way games are starting to make use of larger amounts of RAM on video cards (i.e. Doom 3 *could* use 512MB if you had a card with that on it)...

So...256 versions...anyone know?

How does playing Doom 3 at High Quality, 1024x768 resolution, 4x anti-aliasing / 8x anisotropic filtering OR at High Quality 1600x1200 without anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering at 45* frames per second and 42* frames per second respectively sound?

That is amazing for a card with only 8pipes and @ 128bit. Especially for that price. amazing

Im looking at the 6600GT card ive only seen PCI express ones, I would like a AGP card anyone know if this will be available?

The 6800le will have the 8 pipes as well so what will be faster?

The card defo looks sweet and the price is real nice from what ive seen only 128MB so far its 128bit memory as well but the GT I think has GDDR3 and clocks at 500/1000Mhz
