Currently have an Abit IS-7 with 2 IDE hard drives and a CD and DVD drive. As I am full, I have added another hard drive, Maxtor SATA 250. I had problems with my boot IDE drive, so I installed the SATA drive and am now doing a Ghost clone to it. My question is, I went into bios and set the SATA to auto, it found it in start up, I formatted drive and am doing Ghost as I said. Problem is when it start after installing, it registered as IDE2 Master, and did away with the other drives (DVD and CD) I have installed. My 2 old hard drives are still listed as IDE1 master and slave, but only the new SATA drive is listed in IDE2, no cd or dvd.....any ideas? Thanks so much for your help!
