Does My Benchmark/Scores Seem A Little Low?

Do you guys think my system is peforming slower than it should? It seems like it to me.

3Dmark01: 20,200
3Dmark03: 12,200

Doom3 Timedemo1 (1280x1024 HQ ): 51fps (vsync) 62fps (no vsync)
When i play a game, sometimes it dips to about 28fps... most other times, its at 60fps

In Halo (1280x1024 HQ Vsync) everything is smooth, but if i apply any AF or AA, i start to notice a little lag.

In Farcry (1280x1024 Very High Quality/ Ultra Quality Water, vsync) there is noticeable lag, its around 30 fps outdoors.

In RTHDRIBL (1280x1024 fullscreen) i get around 15-20 fps in the floating balls demo.

the 3dmark scores seem fine, allebit on the low side. I got about 21000 in my 2001se with my PNY card

Scores seem about right.

Liquid have you tried the Doom 3 tweaks? They seem to give me a BIG performance boost. I play at 1280 X 1024 and it never drops below the in game cap limit of 60. Anyways I found these somewhere I can't remember where but try them out.

You can also do this in your Doom 3 Config and it will give you a BIG boost in performance. Go into your Doom Config and change these settings.

Set this to 1 to enable the tweak Default is 0
seta image_useCache "1"

Set this to 1/2 your total RAM mine is 1GB so hence I set it to 512 Default is like 20 or 32
seta image_cacheMegs "512"

Set this to the exact same as what I have listed. Default I think was 200. Not sure exactlt what it does but it must be set to this number.
seta image_cacheMinK "20480"

This will give you an incredible boost in performance.
