Argh bfv mishap

I installed my battlefield vietnam into my battlefield 1942 folder. but it overwrited and I deleted all of Battlefield 1942 folder that had bf:v in it, then I deleted the reg file but it still gives me the option of uninstalling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been looking for hours for the problem but cant find it someone plz help!
