Burning...yet not burning...???

Well, i have a new laptop (about 2 months old from ABS), and i love it. Everything works fine except the CD burner. It burns fine most of the time, but sometimes when i burn a CD iwth Nero or Alcohol120%, it will say complete, eject the disc, and it will still be a blank disc. I dont know whats going on with this. I will be able to reuse the disc to put whatever i want on it.

This happens when burning an image (ISO, Bin, cue, etc...). Ive never tried it burning an audio or somethjing.

Does anyone have any ideas....or even have this problem?
