mic is choppy in counterstrike , but not in teamspeak

im using an audigy 2 with zs drivers( i bought it off a forum and it didnt come with a driver cd , i already had zs drivers so i used them) . my mic works fine in teamspeak , but when i try to use it in cs , it is very choppy. what could be the problem?

How do you mean choppy? Do you have mic boost enabled and play with the mic volume at all?

me too!

I have the same problem but i use Ventrillo instead......its choppy as if every word would be cut off..its not only CS Ingame. I found that everyprogram like MSN or AOL talk is the same way

yeah , it's choppy as in it if i say something it cuts in and out . it works fine in ts , but not ingame cs . couldnt be lag, it happens when i have 10-20ping
