well it could be, it used for renderign and high end graphics and the like, but there probably using a higher end quatro or a fireXL

It's very possible that it's the exact same thing they're using. True "workstation" cards perform differently than a gaming card and are used for very different things than a gaming card. LucasFilm and/or Dreamworks wouldn't use this card to render the actual scenes, but rather to "conceptualize" the scenes before render.
