I was curious as to how cool you guys keep your hard drives. I check the temp through the SMART system temp probes in the drives themselves. My maxtor 200gb and 250gb have both reported operating temps (through MBM5) of 18-22C in a case kept at 18C according to my mobo. Does this sound too cold? Maxtor says thier new sata drives (i can't find the specs for my drive) can run in the range 0-60C. I was really just wondering what temps your drives run at (if you track that) and if you think these are safe or unsafe for whatever reason. I was wondering mainly bacause my 200 just failed, and it's really annoying.....
