Can i mix these 2 hdd's without problems ?

I just orderd a 36gb Raptor on newegg, im ganan order another one whe ni get some more money, but i was wondering, can i use my 40gb maxtor as storage, will my raptor slow down any ?

Or will this even work cuss the raptor is SATA and the maxtor is ATA133. How would ido this if it

they will work fine. They won't even be touching.

I found out now the HDD since its OEM it doesnt come with SATA cable for the hdd, i think at least. Would any SATA/150 cable i can buy in Compusa work or no ?

Sux that no one has any retail versions off these hdd's
