i'm getting nasty graphical errors in far cry. some parts are so dark its hard to play the game, then others are so bright everything is washed out so its also hard to play.

the speed is quite impressive, but i can't have a video card that looks like this during gaming.

my 3dmarks completely stock

a64 3200+ Newcastle 2.2ghz
asus k8v se deluxe
2x512 mushkin bh5
6800 LE 325/1100 full 16 pipes

01se: 21260
03: 10700
05: 3990

Joe Camel, are you using that 2925mhz amd chip for your testing? if so i guess this a64 really takes the cake for gamming cuase that is a huge mhz difference but the results arnt.

here's some samples of what i'm talking about. its constantly changing and the black usually follows me around especially on the ground. the bright is usually walls and structures.

resized from 1280x1024 no aa, no af, all highest settings otherwise.

Max that looks alot like bad drivers. I had the same thing happen in Desert Combat with a few drivers on my old GF4 TI4600SE. If you havn't already try a few different drivers and see what happens.

That 3rd screenshot looks alot like my ti4200 did in 3dmark2001SE on the matrix ones...weird....

max, i put farcry in today and it looked exactly like that on my 6800gt until i got the version 1.1 patch for farcry, then all was fine

Yes, that's exactly how FarCry looked on my screen with 6800nu, and still does BTW, because I haven't downloaded any patches yet. Not so much time for FarCry after so much came out :).

I have also got my 6800 LTD ED, going to test that beast Sat evening :D.
