Hello,

Ive just installed a brand new 300gb Maxtor 63B00S0 SATA hard drive. I have a asus pc4800 motherboard. I plugged my new wd raptor 36 gig into sata 1 port, and that detects fine in bios and windows. My 300gb sata, which is in sata 2 port, detects fine, but only shows up as 127gb? what the hell? Ive formatted and still no luck :/ anyone have a suggestion? I dunno if its an OS problem as my IDE drive detects at 147gb, and thats an 160gb Drive. Maybe its a SATA problem?

Im running windows xp Professional
Pentium 4 3.2ghz
2 gig of ram
