nforce 3 sata support

Yup, you heard right. I just finished building a system on the Epox 8KDA. When installing, it picked up the Raptor without any F6 nonsense at all.

is it for all Nforce3 ultra's? or any particular brand?

The Epox 8KDA employs an Nforce3 250GB chipset.

I would assume that it would be so on all brands. It is, however, bios specific, so don't hold me to that.

Got that mobo 2 days ago. Plugged in a WD raptor 74gig SATA and off I went. Zero problems.

FYI, on the post screen where it detects the hdd/cd roms etc, instead of just the regular ide 2x master and 2xslave showing up, POST also shows the 4 a SATA ports below that.
