Help picking a new mobo

A customer needs to replace his mobo/cpu and wants one that will boot from a usb thumb drive(don't know why but...).Looking for mid price range and running around a 2.4 p4 or 2.8 cely.Running raid1 now but new one doesn't have to have this.Also wants 6 pci slots.Any suggestions?

Not many mobos with 6 PCI slots, most have 5. About the only ones that come to mind are Intel D865GBF and Intel D865GBFL (they are the same except the last one has onboard LAN). Of course this means no overclocking.
 
He's not an overclocker at all so..do you know if either of those will boot from a usb thumb drive?
 
it should its an option in the boot up menu in the bios... my abit bd7-II had that option in the bios and it was an 845chipset, so i dont see why not.
