Could you elaborate on some instances where one might PM a Admin vs a Mod?

I am just a bit curious:
Where and how are the mods and admins found/recruited?
Are they paid, if it is OK to ask?

No mod or admin has ever been paid. Mods are recruited from the Senior Member pool.
To become a Senior, someone must nominate you, then the mods vote on it. You have to be a truly outstanding member in order to become a senior.

The first post was a bit behind the times, so I updated it as best I could. I believe I have everything correct now

Put strike-through tag on inaccurate list that we don't keep updated. Replaced with explanation of staff stars, and link to forum staff list. The top of the forum staff list is maintained regularly, and those are the people typically most active who are best to contact with questions. The OC Forums Way
