To use one set of speakers on 2 pc's?I have an audigy connected to z560 speakers and would like to somehow connect the other pc (sound blaster card) to the speakers so it can use them also.Is there a switch or something that will allow this to be done?

you could just run a cable from the second pc's line out to the first's line in, but then you wouldn't get 5.1. I know there are spliter's for the cables somewher, there's got to be.

The only way i can think of to do it is by useing a LOT of connectors.
You'll need (6) 1/8" to 1/8" male cables.

These will go from each sound cards analog 5.1 channel outputs

(3) 1/8" male to 1/8" female splitter cable.

this will join the cables together. the Right/Left cable from each computer goes into a splitter. The surround R/L cables from each compter would go into a splitter and the center/sub cable from each computer would go into a splitter.

(3) 1/8" female to 1/8" female couplers.http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=090-318
At the end of the splitter you will have to connect this adapter and then plug the Speakers cable (which would normally go into the sound card) In the couple.

Its really confusing and you will likely loose some sound quality. If you dont need surround sound for the other PC then you can just to the line out to line in that aeiou suggested. Its much simpler and wouldnt loose much sound quality at all :D.
