so far that plan looks good, T-lines are the simplest things to set up ever, dont worry about that.

I initially was going with a res with my first setup but went t-line and am glad I did, saves lots of space and was really easy. Just put it were the cap can be at the highest point in the loop. I just put mine at the bottom then laid the case on its side and tilted the t-line up to fill, worked great. I made my cap from a threaded copper tube cap screwed onto a hose barb.

I spent less than $3.00 at home depot for a "T" and end barb with screw on cap. Take a look around any hardware store in the plumbing section. Look for the pvc stuff.

How about a relay switch, or dc pump, and some Sanyo 120mm fans for it.

That actually looks pretty good. You dont need a DC converter for the Eheim, you can just run it off a relay PCI card, and run a plug from that to your wall outlet. That way the pump shuts on and off with the system. I'm pretty sure there is a DC version of the pump somewhere too, but its expensive, around $90-100. For that price I would go with the MCP600 (Aquaextreme 50Z) instead, as at only $80 it is DC and preforms better than the Eheim. It is a tad louder, but you probably wont be able to notice it over your fans, unless you have real sensitive ears.

For the T-Line, just get the T at any hardware store, or you just throw it in the cart from any of the stores that you are ordering something else from. That way you dont have to pay extra shipping costs. For a cap you can really use anything, if the online store doesnt have one just get one at a hardware store. I used the DD cap just cuz I was lazy and it looked cool, plus you can put it in the top of your case if you want to. I never did, but it still serves its purpose well.

Everything else looks good. If you have room try to fit a dual radiator in there, as it will give you significantly better temps, but if you are only cooling the CPU and not the GPU, you should be able to get away with a single radiator. You could go with a heatercore, as they are a bit cheaper and preform as well or better. Get an '86 chevette heatercore from autozone if you go for that, or just any single heatercore online (from DD for example). No matter what however you should get/make a shroud, to keep your fans about 1" away from the HC. This elimates the dead spot right below the fans and a lot of noise as well. Some say it gives you up to a 40% preformance increase too. Oh, and for fan(s), get the Sanyo Denkis, everyone here swears by them and no one is unhappy.

Is the Eheim 1250 the Eheim that is known for being really quiet? I remember there being a really quiet one after you do a mod for it.

I am lazy, so I'm not going to do anything with a heatercore. Is the radiator I have chosen a good one, or should I get something else? How about the tubing I have chosen?

What else will I need? Do I need little clamps to hold the tubing on or anything? I have no water cooling supplies right now, so I need EVERYTHING.

Will I need something like this for my radiator, or does it come with it?

i personally would get the dual heatercore from danger den, it is like 35 bux and it would blow that thing out of the water performance wise
if you dont mind making a little shroud out of cardboard or some plexiglass then it is your best option.
if you dont want to make a shroud then they sell a shroud for it, but it serves more as a mounting point for fans than an actual shroud.
you need at least 1" preferably 1.5-2" of gap between the fans and the core.
but even the premade one from danger den is better than nothing.

i got the premade shroud from DD, and its not that bad, but i have like a 1/4" gap btw the HC and the shroud.... I have to duck tape that. But magick is right, HC are the way to go for good temps. You could even have 4 120 mm sanyo's for extra cooling But you need a fan controller for those fans... they get pretty load w/o one.

The Eheim 1250 is certainly a good pump but for the money I would look into two changes-

Get either a $71 Danger Den 12vdc or a $79 MCP600 pump. Also I would look into getting a '77 B-ville HC. Shrouds arent a problem, simply mount two single shrouds if you dont wish to fabricate your own. Dollar wise you will break even over the items you have listed, performance wise you will blow em away.

What you have listed runs around $121 for the pump and HC/rad. Switching to the D-D 12vdc and the '77 B-ville will run you right at $100 leaving enough to pay for two good single shrouds. If you really want to go after performance look into grabbing a 13.8 vdc power supply for around $20 and getting the MCP600 and running it at 13.8 vdc as Cathar posted. Then your performance should reach the 'hubba hubba' range.

I know I can get better performance for the same amount of money, but I am looking for a nice and quiet pump, and I heard that after doing a mod on the Eheims, you can get a very quiet pump with nice performance. Is that true?

Is the Black Ice Xtreme Radiator and the Clearflex tubing a good choice?

I would change the black ice to a heatercore. Especially if you are playing $58 for a black ice single 120mm with no shroud.

The tubing is good.

I would reccomend using a better pump like the mcp600 because it is not loud at all but if you are really that sensitive than go with the 1048.

T Connector needs Tee Cap or Fill Port and also take advantage on Holidays Savings for 10%OFF of $100 or 15%OFF of $200 for either Danger Den or Cooltechnica

It looks good, but I'd loose the Ehiem and go with:

AquaExtreme Pump

As for the radiator, go with this and get slightly better performance:

Dtek Pro-core

You can get a cheaper stronger "T" adapter at your local Home Depot. I got my steel clamps from CrazyPC and found them cheaper than the hardware store, good choice. If you're not dead-set on the dye, I'd omit that too and keep your lines and pump clean. Good luck.
