I want to learn to overclock

I am running a Compaq Presario 6140, It has Amd's Athalon XP 1800 chip and I am running 640mb of pc 2100 ram. Am not sure exactly what board it is. Would just like to know how to get started. Am fairly knowledgeable about computers, just have never overclocked before. Any help would be appreciated.

your mobo probably has a locked bios so you won't be able to oc the cpu. you can still however, oc your video card with powerstrip.
