is it possable?

i just upgraded my computer with a new mb, cpu, ram, hard drive, and i moved my old hard drive over to be a storage drive and to move files over to the new hard drive, but when i try and access my user folder on the old drive, its tells me access denied, so is it possable to get around windows xp block to get my files without putting the drive back on the old setup?

try disabling simple file sharing.
create a user account with the same username/password as what was on the old drive
