    Boot Problems

    Has anyone ever had their harddrives change their boot order by themselves?
    My girlfriend's computer keeps changing from booting from SATA to IDE. I can't figure out why.

    Just a guess, but maybe the CMOS battery is dying.

    New mobo (ASRock), all the other settings don't change.

    have you reflashed the bios?
